EDITOR ' S NOTE
REBECCA MILES
ello and welcome to the 26th edition of Intelligent Build. tech and my first edition as editor. I am looking forward to sharing all the latest news, thought leadership and updates on technology within the building industry from around our regions.
You may notice a slightly different look to the magazine this month. As part of the Lynchpin Media brand, the magazine has undergone a redesign. It still focuses on expert insight for intelligent business leaders and their teams within the construction industry, and there are also some new additions, including an expert column from a member of our strategic content team.
On the front cover of this month’ s magazine, we feature Eyal Ashur, one of Dubai’ s leading luxury real estate agents known as‘ Mr Jumeirah’. He shares his insights on why the city’ s property market is thriving in 2025, driven by government foresight, cutting-edge technology and a new wave of sustainable, worldclass developments. Turn to page 14 to read more.
The expert column on page 18 comes from Ben Leitch, CxO Cyber Connections and Digital Content Manager at Lynchpin Media. He talks about robot brickies and asks is this the solution to the increasing housing demand or are they just another layer of hype in construction tech?
The feature from page 24 focuses on Bedrock Robotics – a San Francisco-based autonomous technology start-up led by some of the brightest minds from Waymo’ s pioneering self-driving programme. It is bringing proven autonomous driving expertise to construction, retrofitting existing heavy machinery to tackle

America’ s deepening infrastructure and workforce crisis.
And the feature from page 35 focuses on construction company, Depa Group, which augmented its staff with Taegis MDR for global threat intelligence-driven security with a local touch. Being a public company with many regulatory compliance requirements, a robust security programme is mandatory, which is where Taegis MDR stepped in.
We also have an Intelligent Technology section dedicated to all the latest technology developments affecting construction workers and a page called Project Round-Up which features news from across our regions.
I hope you enjoy the magazine and if you’ d like to contribute to any future issues, please do not hesitate to contact me by emailing rebecca @ lynchpinmedia. com
