By the end of 2024, we onboarded 50 business applications onto a unified authentication and authorisation framework. WSO2’ s standardsbased product made integration seamless, though we provided additional support through our Customer Success Engineering team. This transformation enhanced security, connectivity and ease of access for ABB’ s internal users, partners, OEMs and investors.
What energy technologies do you personally use in your own home, and how has your work at ABB influenced your choices?
I drive a Tesla and use ABB’ s workplace charging infrastructure, which is competitively priced. At home, I have an Apple-based automation system where all lights, thermostats and smart locks are connected. The system adjusts heating and security settings based on occupancy, improving energy efficiency. My work at ABB has definitely encouraged me to adopt these solutions.
Are there any projects you are working on and excited about that you can share with us?
Currently, I’ m working on the end-to-end edge gateway program, which facilitates secure data collection from drives and motors. ABB’ s policy prevents direct Internet connections for our products, so we use an intermediate device to handle communication securely. This project is essential for maintaining ABB’ s high cybersecurity standards while enabling real-time data access and improved operational efficiency. �
