Procore launches FedRAMP authorisation process to provide federal customers with enhanced cloud security project delivery

Procore ’ s launch of the FedRAMP authorisation process highlights a dedication to delivering the highest standards of security and data compliance for federal customers and contractors .

Procore has been preparing for the FedRAMP authorisation process through strategic investments and building a security practice that has prepared essential tools , processes , and methodologies that assist in FedRAMP compliance . Procore ’ s strategic investment in FedRAMP compliance , applied widely across its product suite , enables customers to benefit from standardised security and continuous monitoring regardless of what tool in the platform they are using .
Procore has selected Coalfire , a services company specialising in global cybersecurity and compliance , to support the activities required to complete this process . More than 70 % of FedRAMPauthorised providers choose Coalfire for their compliance assessment and advisory needs . Coalfire brings cloud service providers to audit-ready status in record time with 100 % of its submitted builds passing FedRAMP 3PAO ( Third Party Assessment Organisation ) audit to date .

PennDOT contracts with Bentley Systems to advance project delivery

B entley Systems , the infrastructure engineering software company , has announced that it has been selected as part of a multi-award Request for Proposal by the

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation ( PennDOT ) for state- wide civil design solutions . The contract award extends Bentley ’ s long-standing relationship with PennDOT to advance project delivery . PennDOT has transitioned to Bentley ’ s OpenRoads 3D design software and ProjectWise for CADD data management to support roadway , bridge , drainage , traffic and geotechnical engineering .
The acceleration of infrastructure projects with federal funding provided by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act ( IIJA ) is challenging DOTs and their engineering firm ecosystems to expand capacity , including through purposeful inclusion of smaller business enterprises . In the new PennDOT contract , Bentley has proudly partnered with Pennsylvania firms Cedarville Engineering Group , llc ( CEG ) of Pottstown and Honor Engineer Company of Harrisburg .
